There are 10 types of massages in Ayurveda and they all promote holistic positive health, overcome fatigue, strengthen the nervous system, improve eyesight, nourish the bodily tissues, increase longevity, normalise sleep, instil flexibility and sturdiness as well as to maintain good health in general. Different from pressure point western massage, Ayurvedic massage uses various types of oils and herbs.

Therapy duration: 1 to 7 days
Duration of each massage : from 30 to 60 minutes
Called Shirodhara in Sanskrit. It's the most mind relaxing massage in Ayurveda. A pure moment of detachment and peace of mind. In this procedure, herbal oils, medicated buttermilk or milk or decoction etc are poured slowly on the forehead. The time duration is 20-45 minutes.
Called Abhyanga in Sanskrit. This is a special type of oil massage in which hand strokes are made according to the disease. It enhances blood flow and is usually given as pre-procedure to many therapies as well as a separate therapy in itself.Indication: Obesity, rheumatism, blood pressure, spondylitis, weakness, stress and strain, rejuvenations, relaxation, vigor & vitality.
Called Navarkizhi in Sanskrit. In this process, the whole body or any specific part, is made to perspire by the external application of certain medicated herbal puddings tied up in the form of boluses. The time duration is 45-60min
Indication: Emaciation of limbs, skin diseases, rheumatic complaints etc.
Called Udvartan in Sanskrit. This is a typical massage with herbal powders useful for burning fat under the skin. It helps to lose weight, exfoliates dead skin. The time duration is 30-50min.
Indication: Obesity, Hemiplegia, Paralysis, Skin Ailments, Impaired Blood Circulation.
Hot stone massage uses a combination of warmed stones and massage techniques to relax tense muscles, relieve pain and stiffness, and improve circulation. The heat of the stones penetrates the skin to promote better blood flow, release toxins and create a deeper muscle relaxation than in a standardmassage.
Recommended for those really tense, knotted and painful areas in the body. Using a variety of muscle release techniques, this massage will work within your pleasure/pain threshold to release and relax chronic tension.
This special massage relaxes tones and eases muscle tension in the head scalp, neck and shoulders. It also aids to eliminate toxins by stimulating circulation, creating positive energy flow through the chakras leaving you a state of deep traquility.

Marma are the vital points on the body. The word Marma comes from Sanskrit origin word ‘mri’ meaning critical point for life. Hence these areas called Marma are critical for our energy flow and enable the body to perform its function normally and efficiently. 108 Marma points are enumerated and special pression massage techniques need to be learned for each Marma point.
Using Ayurveda an Reflexology techniques, this massage alleviated roughness, stiffness, dryness, numbness and tingling sensation of feet. It strengthen the feet and bring more stability.
